So yeah, XCOM: Enemy Unknown is one of the best games ever. Why do I say that? Well here’s my Review:

Story:

The game is set in the near future, as a global alien invasion begins. Prior to the start of the game, a group of countries called the Council of Nations has banded together to create XCOM (short for Extraterrestrial Combat Unit), the most elite military and scientific organization in human history, tasked with defending them from the alien attack. The player assumes the role of the commander of XCOM, and proceeds to engage in a war against an extraterrestrial enemy with overwhelming technological superiority. So Yeah, there’s really not much to the story, However this is a more Gameplay-Heavy Game, so that’s fine with me. Speaking of Gameplay….

Gameplay:

So XCOM: Enemy Unknown is a Turn-Based Strategy Game, which is already a great genre, mind you, but XCOM: Enemy Unknown is arguably the best there is to date. The only word that can really describe the gameplay in XCOM: Enemy Unknown is Fun, it’s just a fun addicting game to play, and besides a few glitches here and there, it’s perfect.  The Difficulty in XCOM: Enemy Unknown is perfect, it’s challenging, but not hard, but it’s also anything but easy. The Controls work well with both the Keyboard & Mouse and the Controller, so that’s good. The Game sounds great, both sound-wise and Soundtrack-wise, which is also a plus, and it looks nice, so that’s good too. You can also customize your Soldiers in XCOM: Enemy Unknown by changing their looks, name, weapons, and inventory. The only other Problem with XCOM: Enemy Unknown is the Voice Acting which is not the best, but that’s only a minor flaw, as XCOM: Enemy Unknown pretty much excels in everything else.

If you haven’t bought XCOM: Enemy Unknown yet, and you’re slightly interested in it, I highly recommend that you get it as you’ll have a blast with this one.
